Tools for Growth

And the nature of business

Workshops and Facilitations

At any stage of development, additional workshops or facilitation sessions may be beneficial. Beyond Tomorrow Co. offers workshops on topics such as Basic Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, Spiral Dynamics, Building a Culture of Trust, and Resilience. We also provide speakers for other client-specific needs.

Partnering Approach

Beyond Tomorrow Co. operates with a lean team, collaborating with selected partners for specialized services (e.g., accounting, legal, IT). These partners set their own fees and will either invoice clients directly or combine their charges with Beyond Tomorrow Co’s. No additional markup is applied, except for any briefing or involvement by Beyond Tomorrow Co. Clients can choose to work with Beyond Tomorrow Co’s Executive Assistant (EA) or their own personnel. If Beyond Tomorrow Co’s EA is involved, fees will be set and confirmed before engagement.

Core Mission

As outlined in all Beyond Tomorrow Co. materials, our mission is to partner with companies committed to making a positive impact on both people and the planet. Our services and fees are structured to support these initiatives, ensuring a fair and equitable exchange for all parties involved

Everything we do comes with a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied at each step.

The Nature of Business

"Don’t blame the lettuce."

Running a business is a lot like being a skilled gardener. You need to plan, have a clear vision of the garden you want to create, and understand your purpose. What’s the end goal? What’s the strategy?

If you’re starting from scratch, it all begins with the soil. What kind of environment are you working with? What challenges might you face? Maybe the soil’s not ideal—low on nutrients, full of weeds. Perhaps there are no pollinators nearby, or the weather is unpredictable—dry, cold, or windy. Or maybe the spot is too shady, or the garden is exposed to harsh sunlight. You’ve got to consider all these factors before anything can thrive.

Then, there are the threats—your competition. Insects, birds, and critters that spend all day trying to undo your hard work. Meanwhile, you’re juggling multiple tasks, trying to protect your crop while managing everything else. Sound familiar?

Business operates in the same way. What challenges do you face? Where are your products or services coming from? How will you get them into people’s hands? Who’s your competition, and are you prepared to take them on? Most importantly, why are you doing this, and what will make it successful?

Breaking it Down

Just like in a garden, healthy soil makes strong plants. The stronger the plants, the better they withstand pests and storms. Similarly, in business, the healthier your foundation (through research and planning), the stronger your organization becomes. Once you’ve assessed your environment, it’s time to clear the weeds and start shaping your vision. Envision success—really see it and feel it—but leave room for adjustments, because things will change. Map out your plan like it’s already achieved, so when challenges arise, you can navigate them and keep moving forward.

Even with a clear vision, you might still be staring at a dusty, weed-covered patch of land. That’s reality setting in. Now, take a hard look at the resources you’ll need—people, money, tools, space—because things won’t always go your way. Crops will fail, trees may need to be uprooted, and pests will invade. Are you ready for that? Or are you ready to quit?

If you choose to move forward, every obstacle becomes fuel for growth. Every problem you face is like compost for your garden. Frustration and fear? That’s just more weight to lift, making you stronger.

Cultivating Success

A great gardener is always moving—composting, mulching, pulling weeds, feeding the soil, planting seeds, and pruning the dead weight. They deal with bugs, encourage biodiversity, and keep learning. They celebrate the harvest, figure out what to do with the abundance, and despite the unpredictability, they make the process enjoyable.

Then comes the pure joy: the moment when the fruit of your labour is ripe, fragrant, and delicious. That’s when you know it’s all been worth it—especially when you’re sharing the harvest with those you care about.

Business as a Garden

In business, it’s much the same. I think of the people I work with as the soil—each person brings a unique blend of experiences, skills, and perspectives. Sometimes they come with baggage, but that’s part of the mix. The more we work together, the more resilient and capable they become. Together, we build the structure and depth needed to support the business, and we nourish not just customers, but also the processes and systems that keep everything running smoothly. If things aren’t going well, don’t blame the team—look at the gardener
